Processing
Because dye ink filters into the surface of the proprietary coating layer, Synergy® metal can be processed into various shapes after it has been printed, even punching and drilling cause no problem. This flexibility has never been attained by any other methods including screen printing, which leaves pigment inks sticking on the surface. Formability after printing is truly unique to Synergy® metals, which is why Panasonic use Synergy® for high end DVD players, GE for refrigerators and Toshiba for elevator doors.
Customisable
Based on ink-jet technology, Synergy® does not require any screen or master for printing. Small runs and even one-offs are welcome and require no additional costs or set-up, only simplicity of process and cost-efficiency.
Durability
Because dye is locked inside the proprietary resin layer, the design is always protected. Synergy® can be used both indoors and outdoors without protective coating. Unlike screen printing and other forms of digital printing, weather-proof protection is an additional feature of the Synergy® process.
